WNBA Finals Game 6 will be played at State Farm Arena Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET
The league settled the venue fight by moving Game 6 to an afternoon tip in Atlanta, with the Hawks pushing their game against Cleveland to 8 p.m. A Game 7, if needed, stays on Halloween at Chase Center.

Game 6 of the WNBA Finals between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries will be played Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, ESPN reported Monday, and the league confirmed the plan in an announcement shortly after.
The decision ends a weekend of uncertainty. The Hawks already had State Farm Arena booked Thursday night for a regular-season game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Dream had said Game 6 would go to the 3,500-seat Gateway Center unless the schedule changed. Instead, the Hawks-Cavaliers game moves to 8 p.m. ET so the building can host a doubleheader, the same fix the Hawks used for Game 4.
State Farm Arena holds about 17,000. ESPN said it took the WNBA, the NBA, the Hawks, the arena, both teams and the broadcast partners to sort it out, and that all three Finals games in Atlanta have needed hurried schedule changes. The other option under strong consideration was playing Game 6 on an open Friday date in Atlanta and pushing a Game 7 to Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Chase Center.

The matinee plan keeps the rest of the calendar intact. A Game 7 would stay on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, in San Francisco.
In its announcement, the league pointed to the crowds at Games 3 and 4. "The sellout crowds and extraordinary atmosphere at State Farm Arena for Games 3 and 4 were a tremendous success," the statement read, in part.
The series is tied 2-2 heading into Game 5 tonight at Chase Center. Whoever wins tonight can close it out Thursday afternoon in Atlanta.
What to watch: Game 5 tips at 8 p.m. ET tonight in San Francisco. Whoever loses tonight faces elimination in Thursday's matinee in Atlanta becomes an elimination game.
