  • The Kansas City Chiefs bring a 5-0 record to Lumen Field for Sunday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks, kicking off at 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC. Seattle, the defending Super Bowl champion, is 3-3 and coming off a 17-14 overtime loss at Denver on Oct. 16.

Seattle may get a running back back. Zach Charbonnet, who tore his ACL in January and opened the season on the physically unable to perform list, practiced fully Wednesday and was moved to the active roster Thursday, according to the Associated Press. "There is a possibility that you can see him on Sunday in some capacity," coach Mike Macdonald said. Charbonnet ran for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. Rookie Jadarian Price is out with a chest and shoulder injury, and Seattle averages 107.2 rushing yards a game, 18th in the league.

The other running back story is on the visiting sideline. Kenneth Walker III, the Super Bowl MVP who signed with Kansas City in free agency, leads the NFL at 133 rushing yards a game with 665 yards and six rushing touchdowns. He ran for 128 yards and two scores in last week's 22-6 win over the Chargers.

  • Seattle linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and safety Nick Emmanwori are listed as questionable with hip injuries, and both are expected to play, NFL Network reported Sunday morning. Linebackers Drake Thomas (ankle) and Chazz Surratt (calf) are out, and backup quarterback Drew Lock is questionable with an elbow injury.

Kansas City is without receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) and offensive lineman Jaylon Moore (concussion). Left tackle Josh Simmons is on injured reserve with a back injury, and cornerback L'Jarius Sneed is questionable with a knee injury.

The matchup to watch is Patrick Mahomes against the league's stingiest pass defense. Seattle allows 141.3 passing yards a game, fewest in the NFL, per the AP. Mahomes has 1,309 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions, and last week's win was his 100th in the regular season. Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the league with 717 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches for Seattle.

  • Seattle is favored by 2.5 points in the AP preview and by 3 at DraftKings, with a total of 42.5. Kansas City leads the all-time series 34-19.

Inactives are due about 90 minutes before kickoff, and Charbonnet's status is the one to watch.
