Bo Nix ran 62 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter, and the Denver Broncos beat the Arizona Cardinals 30-16 on Sunday at State Farm Stadium. Denver (5-2) has won three straight. Arizona (2-5) has lost 10 straight home games, a streak that has lasted 406 days, according to the Associated Press.
The game was tied 6-6 when Nix dropped back, stepped up and found nothing but grass in front of him. Nobody touched him until a few yards from the goal line, and he sidestepped that tackle and tumbled in for a 13-6 lead with 3:43 left in the half. The Broncos called it the longest rush by a quarterback in team history. Nix had 37 rushing yards in his first six games combined.
"You believe me now?" Nix said afterward, referring to the right ankle he hurt in last season's playoffs.
