Will the teams combine for at least 46 points? I picked No on Sunday night’s Beat Chuck card. Tampa Bay visits Chicago at 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
Tampa Bay ran for 324 yards against Atlanta and the game still ended 16–0. The Buccaneers’ Week 9 preview has them fifth in points allowed. If Tampa Bay can run effectively and keep Chicago out of the end zone, both teams can move the ball without getting to 46.
Chicago is the reason I could be wrong. The Bears’ Week 8 report notes they’ve scored at least 30 in three straight, including a 34–17 win in Seattle. If they get to 30 again, Tampa Bay needs only 16 for Yes. A 27–19 finish gets there too. At 27–18, my No holds.
