Arizona placed running back Jeremiyah Love on injured reserve Tuesday. The team listed the move in its roster update, and ESPN reported that the rookie has a high ankle sprain that should keep him out four to five weeks. IR means he'll miss at least four games.
Love left Sunday's game at Dallas in the first half. He slammed his helmet on the sideline, went into the blue medical tent and later walked to the locker room, according to ESPN.
It's his third ankle problem since August. He hurt one ankle in the second preseason game against the Raiders and the other early in the season. Coach Mike LaFleur said Monday this one is separate from those. "It's a new portion of the ankle," LaFleur said. "So, I'll keep it at that."

The former Notre Dame star went third overall in April. He has 268 rushing yards and one touchdown in six games.
Allgeier gets the job
Tyler Allgeier took over Sunday and had 191 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in the Cardinals' overtime win in Dallas, per ESPN. He should carry the load while Love is out.
Arizona also put wide receiver Kendrick Bourne on IR, promoted receiver Harrison Wallace III to the 53-man roster and moved tight end Kenny Yeboah to practice squad IR, according to the team.
