Friday's college football results delivered two big rushing performances and an overtime comeback. Louisville beat Florida State 44-20, Iowa won 41-24 at Washington, Wyoming edged San José State 16-13 in overtime, and Utah State rallied past Washington State 17-16. Iowa State–BYU remained unfinished at the latest check.
Brown turns Louisville's night around
Isaac Brown ran for 235 yards and two touchdowns as Louisville erased a 14-0 deficit. His 97-yard touchdown followed a Florida State failure on fourth-and-goal, giving the Cardinals a way out of their own end of the field and starting a run of 35 consecutive points.
Louisville finished with 397 rushing yards, and all six of its touchdowns came on the ground. Brown also supplied a 72-yard kickoff return to open the second half and later broke a 68-yard touchdown run. The Cardinals and Seminoles both left the game 3-3.
