Class of 2027 quarterback Bo Bryan, the son of country singer Luke Bryan, committed to Georgia on Sunday. Georgia offered him on Oct. 19. It was his first offer from a Power 4 program, ESPN reported.
Bryan is a 6-foot, 205-pound pocket passer at Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee and a three-star prospect in ESPN's rankings, which list him 107th among pocket passers in the class. He chose Georgia over offers from Austin Peay, East Tennessee State, North Alabama and UT Martin, among others.
He started at quarterback for the first time this fall as a senior and threw for 2,006 yards, 30 touchdowns and three interceptions before a season-ending shoulder injury earlier this month. As a junior he was the backup on a team that won a TSSAA Division II-AA state title, the school's first since 2003.

Luke Bryan grew up in Leesburg, Georgia, went to Georgia Southern and has stayed a lifelong Bulldogs fan who shows up at games. In April he and Jason Aldean headlined a sellout at Sanford Stadium, its first concert since 2013. Bo made several campus visits, most recently for Georgia's Week 4 win over Oklahoma.
He is the second quarterback in Georgia's 2027 class, joining four-star Colton Nussmeier, the brother of former LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. ESPN ranks the class 12th nationally. Earlier in the week Georgia also landed 2028 offensive tackle Koehn Dial, Bryan's Battle Ground Academy teammate.
No. 3 Georgia (6-1, 4-1 SEC) was off this weekend and plays No. 17 Florida on Oct. 31 in Atlanta at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
