Missouri climbed eleven places to No. 14 in Sunday's Associated Press Top 25 after beating Florida 45–17. The Gators fell eight spots to No. 16, while Texas remained No. 1 heading into its Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma.
The top five stayed in the same order: Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami and Ohio State. The movement immediately behind them gave Alabama the No. 6 position and moved Indiana down to No. 7. BYU rose two places to No. 8, Ole Miss stayed ninth and LSU advanced to No. 10.
Missouri's jump is the clearest change in how voters assess Saturday's results. A week earlier, Florida had climbed into the top ten after beating Ole Miss. Its loss in Columbia reversed that progress and left the Tigers ahead of the Gators in the new poll. Missouri's official footage from Saturday shows Jamal Roberts completing his third touchdown run of the game.

Winning also did not guarantee a team would keep its position. Indiana fell one place, and SMU dropped three to No. 24 after its 25–16 victory over Boston College. Iowa slid six spots to No. 20 following its loss to Ohio State. Pittsburgh entered at No. 25, while Kentucky left the ranked group.
For the next slate, Alabama's move sets up a meeting between No. 2 Georgia and No. 6 Alabama. Texas will take the top ranking into its matchup with Oklahoma. Those are the rankings entering the week; the table is Sunday's published AP poll, rather than an individual voter's ballot or a projection.

The poll provides a new snapshot of the national race after the weekend, with Missouri's rise and Florida's fall accounting for the sharpest movement among teams that were already ranked.
