- One point per correct non-void answer; zero for incorrect. Void questions excluded equally for players and host. No stakes or monetary payout.
- Complete-season requirement
- Do not finalize before the complete eligible scope is final. Regular-season cumulative and average questions require the complete originally planned season (NFL 17, NBA 82) or all 17 frozen Red Sox games. If a cancellation/truncation prevents this by resolveBy, void rather than prorate. Postseason official championship/qualification outcomes may settle independently.
- Unresolved outcomes
- resolveBy values are editorial settlement deadlines, not league-announced event dates. Unresolved outcomes at that deadline are void; do not label an incomplete outcome No.
- Postponed games
- A postponed game remains eligible under its original identity, including doubleheaders. For MLB use frozen gamePk values, not actual rescheduled date. If official game IDs change, document the one-to-one replacement before grading; no added unrelated games.
- Ties and exact thresholds
- NFL ties are not wins or losses and break winning streaks. Exact numeric equality meets an at-least threshold, not a strictly-greater threshold. Official league tiebreakers determine standings positions and division titles.
- Home and away
- Home and away mean official league designation, including neutral-site designated home games; not stadium location.
- Playoff conditions
- Failure to qualify or elimination resolves advancement questions No, not void. A bye is not a playoff win. NBA play-in is neither a playoff series nor qualification for the final eight-team conference playoff field. A cancelled competition without an official outcome is void.
- Statistics
- Use final official team box-score totals; include overtime/extra innings. Exclude preseason and exhibitions. NBA games count in regular totals only if NBA classifies them Regular Season; exclude any NBA Cup final not classified Regular Season. Use unrounded ratios computed from totals. MLB pitching runs allowed include earned and unearned runs. Accept official corrections recorded before grading and retain audit evidence.
- Winning streaks
- Streaks follow official scheduled game order, with MLB same-day order following official game number. Suspended games retain their original schedule order. No streak crosses the eligible window boundary.
- Official evidence
- Schedule links are official entry points, not proof of future results. At settlement store exact official gamebook/boxscore/standings URLs, retrieved timestamp, relevant values, computation and editor identity.
