  1. Second-year running back TreVeyon Henderson has not practiced since injuring his ankle on Aug. 24 and remained a non-participant into Labor Day weekend as New England prepared for Wednesday's Sept. 9 opener at Seattle (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).

On Monday, coach Mike Vrabel said the staff would see how Henderson feels and whether he can do anything in practice, with a few days still left before kickoff. Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to shoulder the early-down work; Vrabel also stressed trust in whoever is active.

Henderson had nine rushing touchdowns as a rookie in 2025 and played every regular-season and playoff game that year. The Week 1 game is a Super Bowl LX rematch at Lumen Field.
