  1. The Patriots signed safety Elliott Davison to their practice squad and released defensive tackle Jalen Hunt from it on September 3.

    Davison spent time on New Orleans' practice squad in 2025. His New England signing is a practice-squad addition, not a place on the active game-day roster. The official transaction notice records both moves.
