Tyler Herro’s Pinecrest home is an invitation to look past the front door. Broad glass surfaces and a pool-centered backyard turn the outdoor space into part of the interior experience, with tropical materials softening a contemporary layout. The feature worth borrowing is that visual connection, rather than the scale of the estate.
The Miami Herald reported July 7, 2026, that Herro’s eight-bedroom residence had been listed for roughly $12 million, with Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman handling the offering. Homes of Celebs revisited the property in August. These are dated asking-price reports; they do not establish a sale or guarantee that the home remains available today.

Watch how glass, wood and the pool-facing spaces relate before treating an individual piece of furniture as the main attraction.

The reported design takes inspiration from Bali. At the entrance, a bridge over a water feature provides a transition from the approach to the living rooms. Inside, double-height spaces and natural finishes make the house feel connected to its setting. Those choices give the entry more purpose than simply demonstrating how high a ceiling can be.
The kitchen is supported by a large pantry, keeping storage close to the cooking space without making it the focus of the room. Elsewhere, a movie theater and additional gathering areas let entertainment move away from the main living zone when needed.
The primary suite has a sitting area and pool views, according to the listing descriptions. Outdoors, a summer kitchen and places to lounge extend the house’s shared spaces. An outdoor cooking area is most useful when it is connected to where people already want to sit; this layout makes that relationship easy to imagine.
The tour does not tell us how Herro arranged his daily routine, and it should not be used to invent one. What it does offer is a clear design question for any home: can the best outdoor feature be enjoyed from inside as well as outside? Here, the pool and planting do much of the visual work while the interior gives people room to gather.
