  • The Titans placed guards Fernando Carmona and Jackson Slater on injured reserve Tuesday after both were hurt in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Tennessee signed guard Garrett Dellinger and running back Michael Carter from its practice squad to the active roster as it prepares to visit Baltimore.

Losing two guards in the same game changes the available depth before the next practice week. The team's announcement confirmed the injured-reserve moves but did not give either player a return timetable or name Sunday's starting replacement. Dellinger joins the active group as an option, rather than an announced starter.

Tennessee already knew Dellinger from its roster work late last season. The Titans claimed him off waivers from Cleveland with three games remaining in 2025. Baltimore had drafted the LSU lineman in the seventh round that year; he later joined the Browns' practice squad and appeared in one game as a reserve before moving to Tennessee.

  • Carter's promotion addresses a separate position. The Titans signed him during the offseason, and he brings 61 games of experience across five NFL seasons. He has made 27 starts and rushed for 1,692 yards and nine touchdowns, according to the team's release. Tuesday's transaction does not establish how many carries he will receive in Baltimore.

The Titans also added offensive lineman Nick Broeker, defensive back Jakob Robinson and linebacker Owen Pappoe to the practice squad. Broeker gives the organization another lineman with NFL experience; Tennessee listed 12 career games across his previous stops. Pappoe returns after being released from the active roster last week.

NBC Sports independently confirmed the paired guard losses and the two promotions. Tennessee's next challenge is to settle its available offensive line and game-day personnel before Sunday against the Ravens. The completed roster moves define who is available to prepare; the starting lineup and backfield workload still need team confirmation.
