Saturday's college football schedule starts with an unbeaten Big Ten matchup and ends with two undefeated SEC contenders meeting in Tuscaloosa. Between them, the Red River Rivalry and a ranked UCLA–Oregon game share the afternoon window.
Noon: Indiana gets a loud road test
No. 7 Indiana visits Nebraska on FOX with both teams 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Hoosiers are preparing for the communication problems that come with a sellout crowd in Lincoln, an issue Indiana's own reporting makes central to its offensive preparation.
Yahoo Sports' full preview reports that quarterback Josh Hoover has thrown 15 touchdowns without an interception and that Turbo Richard ran for 204 yards against Rutgers last week. Nebraska's defense allows 14.2 points per game; Indiana averages 44.2. Protecting Hoover and keeping the offense organized will be useful early measures of how Indiana handles this trip.

Afternoon: Red River and a ranked Big Ten meeting
No. 1 Texas faces Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Texas enters 4-0 and Oklahoma 2-2. Arch Manning leads the Longhorns with 862 passing yards, and Ryan Wingo has a team-high 239 receiving yards.
Oklahoma's offense has scored 14 or fewer points in each of its last three games, according to Yahoo Sports' preview. The Texas pass rush recorded 10 sacks against Tennessee in its last outing, making the Sooners' ability to sustain possessions a clear part of the matchup.
At the same time on CBS, No. 21 UCLA visits No. 13 Oregon. The Bruins are 4-0 under new coach Bob Chesney; the Ducks are 3-1 and return from a bye. Yahoo Sports lists UCLA running back Wayne Knight at 445 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Oregon has won the last five meetings, and this game gives the Bruins a ranked road opponent against which to measure their fast start.
Night: Georgia and Alabama bring unbeaten records
No. 2 Georgia and No. 6 Alabama are both 5-0 and 3-0 in the SEC entering the 7:30 p.m. ABC game. Georgia's official notes list the Bulldogs at 51.4 points per game and Alabama at 49.6. Georgia has allowed 57.4 rushing yards per game, putting its front against another productive offense.
