Atlanta's offense finally had room to work Thursday night. The Falcons beat the Packers 35-14 at Lambeau Field in Michael Penix Jr.'s first start since last November's knee injury, with Bijan Robinson rushing for 194 yards and two touchdowns and Drake London catching nine passes for 194 yards. The win was Atlanta's first under coach Kevin Stefanski and left both teams 1-2. Official game center | Atlanta Journal-Constitution report
Green Bay struck first on Jordan Love's four-yard touchdown pass to Christian Watson. The response turned on a penalty and one explosive run. A roughing-the-passer call against Brenton Cox Jr. extended Atlanta's late first-quarter possession, and Robinson broke a 55-yard run on the next play. He scored from three yards out to tie the game. The Falcons posted native video of the 55-yard run and the tying touchdown. Atlanta went on to score 27 unanswered points. Packers play account | Associated Press report
The second quarter made the separation real. After Nick Folk's 44-yard field goal put Atlanta ahead 10-7, Zach Harrison blocked Trey Smack's 47-yard attempt. Penix later found Austin Hooper for a five-yard touchdown with 59 seconds left before halftime. Watch the NFL’s native clip of the throw. Penix finished 18 of 25 for 256 yards, a touchdown and an interception, while London turned 10 targets into his 194 yards. NFL gamebook

Green Bay still had a chance to cut into the 17-7 margin after the break, but Love's fourth-and-1 throw from Atlanta's seven sailed high. The Falcons answered with a 10-play, 92-yard drive capped by Brian Robinson Jr.'s seven-yard touchdown run. A 68-yard Penix completion to London helped set up another Folk field goal in the fourth quarter. The NFL shared a native fourth-quarter London clip. Love connected with Matthew Golden to make it 27-14, then Bijan Robinson's second short touchdown put the game out of reach. Packers play account
The rushing split explains much of the night: Atlanta gained 242 yards on the ground; Green Bay managed 17. Love threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns, but needed 53 attempts, and the Packers' offense went six straight possessions without scoring after its early touchdown. The Falcons gained 498 net yards to Green Bay's 328 and held the ball for more than 37 minutes. Official game center | Associated Press report
Green Bay linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was evaluated for a concussion, and guard Jacob Monk hurt his quadriceps late. Their postgame status needs confirmation before any availability claim. The Packers' 13-game home-opener winning streak ended; Atlanta heads into its next game with a much clearer picture of what Penix, Robinson and London can produce together.
