  • Sunday inactive update — October 4

Colby Parkinson is inactive for the Rams’ Sunday visit to Philadelphia. The team’s official Week 4 list resolves his questionable designation after he missed the practice week with knee and shoulder injuries. Los Angeles is also without Terrance Ferguson, whom it placed on injured reserve Friday.

Tyler Higbee carried no game designation on Friday’s final report and is absent from Sunday’s inactive list. That gives managers an available tight end to consider, but the Rams have not announced a target allocation or a guaranteed workload. Puka Nacua is also absent from the inactive list after practicing fully Friday and clearing the final injury report.

Aaron Donald and Jaylen Watson remain out as previously announced. The Rams’ other inactives are Cam Lampkin, C.J. Daniels Jr., Bill Murray and emergency third quarterback Ty Simpson. Parkinson’s inactive designation applies to this game; no return date is confirmed in the team’s announcement.

  • Previously published Friday roster update — October 2

The Rams placed tight end Terrance Ferguson on injured reserve Friday after ruling him out of the Eagles game with an ankle injury. The team announced the move alongside the signings of wide receiver Alex Bachman and defensive end Larrell Murchison from the practice squad to the active roster.

Previously published Friday final injury report

Puka Nacua practiced fully Friday and carries no game designation for the Rams' Sunday visit to Philadelphia. Los Angeles' final injury report clears his return path after two missed games, while tight end Terrance Ferguson is out and Colby Parkinson remains questionable.

Nacua was listed with a hip injury through the practice week; the Rams' written update describes the problem that kept him out as groin soreness. He moved from limited participation Wednesday and Thursday to a full session Friday. The completed practice and final designation supply the availability update beyond Sean McVay's earlier expectation that he would return.

  • The receiver's return still leaves a workload question. Independent reporting from Friday's McVay session says the team could monitor Nacua's snaps. McVay has not specified a snap limit.

The tighter uncertainty is at tight end. Parkinson did not practice on any of the three days with knee and shoulder injuries and is questionable. Ferguson also missed the practice week with an ankle injury and has been ruled out. Tyler Higbee's Friday absence is listed as rest, and he has no game designation.

Safety Kamren Kinchens also practiced fully Friday and has no game designation after two missed games with a hamstring injury. The Rams ruled cornerback Jaylen Watson out with a shoulder injury and defensive end Aaron Donald out with a back injury. Outside linebacker Josaiah Stewart was added Friday with a groin injury, did not practice and is questionable.

Donald missed all three practices. McVay said the veteran was not feeling well enough to play, and Los Angeles confirmed the absence in its final report. The Rams have not supplied a return date in that report.

The game kicks off Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m. Eastern on FOX. Nacua's designation gives managers a returning receiver to consider; Parkinson's status remains an unresolved decision alongside the confirmed Ferguson absence.

  • Earlier reporting (superseded by Friday final status)

The Rams' Wednesday account says Nacua's progress included a workout in Denver on Sunday and the subsequent walkthrough. He caught five passes for 74 yards in the season opener before missing the Giants and Broncos games. Wednesday's limited participation and the coach's return expectation supersede the earlier Week 3 doubtful designation; that designation applied to Denver, not the upcoming Philadelphia game.

Los Angeles also has practice absences elsewhere. NBC Sports' Wednesday evening report confirms five nonparticipants. The Eagles' official matchup injury account lists Donald with a back issue, Parkinson with knee and shoulder issues, Ferguson with an ankle injury and cornerback Jaylen Watson with a shoulder injury. That account says Ferguson and Watson are not expected to play Sunday. Those expectations are distinct from a filed final out designation.

The Rams visit Philadelphia Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m. Eastern, according to the NFL's Week 4 schedule. The next participation reports will establish whether Nacua increases his work and whether the other injured players return to practice.
