  • Oregon closed Friday's college football schedule with an 84-0 win over Portland State, turning the late kickoff into a one-sided performance from the opening quarter. The Ducks finished with 726 total yards, 43 first downs and 11 conversions on 14 third-down attempts.

Portland State never found a way to sustain a drive. The Vikings gained 103 yards, went 0-for-9 on third down and turned the ball over four times, including three interceptions. Oregon held Portland State to two rushing yards on 17 attempts and kept the visitors out of scoring range all night.

  • Oregon's offense balanced 453 passing yards with 273 rushing yards and completed 35 of 43 attempts. The Ducks also went 2-for-2 on fourth down, so the shutout came with sustained possession and field-position control rather than a few isolated explosive plays.
