  • Monday’s NBA preseason slate produced three double-digit wins and one game decided in the final seconds. The Lakers finished the night with 20 three-pointers, while Detroit supplied the closest finish by erasing an 18-point halftime deficit.

    Here is the five-game scoreboard and the reporting to follow from each arena.

    Lakers 127, Kings 103

    Luka Doncic scored 21 points in 16 minutes, all in the first half. Los Angeles led 73–47 at the break and continued scoring through its reserves, with Cameron Carr adding 19 points. Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler missed the opener with ankle and finger injuries, respectively.

  • Pistons 109, Suns 107

    Ebuka Okorie’s driving layup with 5.8 seconds remaining completed Detroit’s comeback. Phoenix had led 68–50 at halftime before a 34–16 Pistons third quarter brought the teams level. Okorie’s finish followed Koa Peat’s tying dunk with 12.1 seconds left.

  • Sixers 120, Knicks 97

    Jaylen Brown scored 22 points in 17 minutes, and Philadelphia pulled away with a 39-point second quarter. Starting center Ariel Hukporti left with a right Achilles injury and is scheduled for imaging Tuesday. A tear or return timetable has not been established.

    Grizzlies 132, Hawks 123

    Memphis scored 49 points in the second quarter to turn a three-point deficit into an 81–61 halftime lead. GG Jackson scored 14 points in 16 minutes; Corey Kispert led Atlanta with 19. The Hawks reduced the margin after halftime but could not recover the lead.

    Timberwolves 116, Bucks 97

    Minnesota’s reserves helped finish a 35-point fourth quarter. Anthony Edwards scored 14, while Joan Beringer and Antonio Reeves added 12 apiece. Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins returned after briefly leaving following contact near his eye and finished with 15 points.
