  • Rui Hachimura scored 16 points, Baba Miller added 15 off the bench and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 122-110 in a preseason game Wednesday at Intuit Dome. Six Clippers reached double figures as a strong third quarter turned a three-point halftime lead into the advantage they carried through the finish.

The teams were tied 24-24 after one quarter, and Los Angeles led 58-55 at halftime. The Clippers then outscored Denver 38-26 in the third, reaching the final period ahead 96-81. Denver won the fourth quarter 29-26, but the Clippers had built enough space to absorb that response.

The NBA’s full game highlights place the third-quarter separation alongside the earlier exchanges and the late plays that completed the result.

  • Hachimura made three of five 3-point attempts and all three free throws. He finished with five rebounds and two steals in 24 minutes. Miller made five of six shots, including both of his 3-point attempts, and collected five rebounds. His 15 points gave the Clippers another efficient scoring option when the starting group changed.

Darius Garland had 14 points and seven assists, while Derrick Jones Jr. also scored 14. Keaton Wagler contributed 12 points, five rebounds and four assists without a turnover in 28 minutes. Jalen Pickett added 10 points and five assists, making four of six shots.

The Clippers finished 15-for-33 from 3-point range and made 45 of 87 shots overall. They also made 17 of 20 free throws. Denver matched their 17 made free throws but needed 30 attempts to get there, leaving points behind at the line during a game decided by 12.

  • Los Angeles recorded 35 assists and 12 total turnovers, including one team turnover. Denver had 29 assists and 17 total turnovers. Those figures accompanied a balanced Clippers offense in which no player needed to score 20 for the team to reach 122.

Trevon Brazile led Denver with 22 points on eight-of-10 shooting. He made three of four 3-pointers and added a steal and a block. Cam Whitmore scored 17, Jamal Murray had 14 and Julian Strawther added 11. Brazile and Whitmore supplied 39 points from the bench, keeping Denver’s later rotation productive despite the deficit.

Murray made six of eight shots in 17 minutes. Nikola Jokic also played 17 minutes and finished with five points, six rebounds and seven assists. Denver’s leading starters had limited preseason workloads, so the result reflected a mix of starting and reserve combinations rather than a full regular-season rotation.

DaRon Holmes II scored on a running layup with 36.3 seconds remaining to make it 119-110. Fletcher Loyer answered with a 3-pointer off a Gradey Dick assist with 16.7 seconds left, providing the game’s final points. The Clippers finished with a 2-1 preseason record, while Denver moved to 2-2.
