C.J. Stroud had one more possession to answer an interception that nearly cost Houston its lead. He used it to give Ka'imi Fairbairn a chance to win the game, and the Texans' kicker finished the job from 49 yards as time expired Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
Houston beat Jacksonville 34-31 after watching Travis Hunter's end-zone interception and Cam Little's 60-yard field goal erase its fourth-quarter advantage. The Texans won their second straight game to improve to 2-4. The AFC South-leading Jaguars fell to 4-2 and had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Stroud completed 24 of 34 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. His counterpart, Trevor Lawrence, threw four touchdown passes and finished with 306 yards, yet Jacksonville could not get the last defensive stop it needed.
Houston keeps finding an answer
Foster Moreau caught both of Houston's first-half touchdown passes, including a 1-yard score with eight seconds left that sent the Texans into halftime ahead 17-14. Lawrence had twice found Bhayshul Tuten for touchdowns in the second quarter, the second putting Jacksonville ahead with 55 seconds remaining.
Stroud then connected with Jaylin Noel for a 13-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Noel finished with four catches for 107 yards. Jacksonville extended that Houston possession with a too-many-men penalty on a punt, according to the AP game report carried by ESPN.
Lawrence's 1-yard touchdown pass to Nate Boerkircher cut the deficit to 24-21. Jawhar Jordan immediately restored Houston's cushion with a 25-yard touchdown run, giving the Texans a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter.
Hunter brings Jacksonville back
Hunter caught a 7-yard touchdown pass with 11:26 remaining, then intercepted Stroud in the end zone to keep Houston from adding to its lead. Jacksonville turned that takeaway into Little's tying field goal with 1:55 left.
In the Jaguars' postgame interview, coach Liam Coen discussed the plays Hunter made on offense and defense to keep Jacksonville in contention:
Hunter caught all four of his targets for 59 yards. Tuten added four receptions for 48 yards and two touchdowns, while Jakobi Meyers led Jacksonville with 83 receiving yards.
Houston still finished with 426 yards, compared with Jacksonville's 412. Stroud got through the game without a sack and recovered from his late mistake to arrange the winning kick. Marvin Harrison Jr., making his Texans debut after his trade from Arizona, contributed three catches for 34 yards.
The Texans host the Giants next Sunday. Jacksonville heads into its bye after consecutive London games ended with long field goals, this time with its opponent celebrating the last kick.
