Josue De Paula and Edgardo Henriquez made the Dodgers' National League Division Series roster Saturday, with Hyeseong Kim also included as Los Angeles chose 14 position players and 12 pitchers against Atlanta.
The official roster gives the Dodgers separate bench options for hitting and late-game running. MLB.com's announcement identifies De Paula as the primary left-handed pinch-hitting option and Kim as a possible pinch-runner or defensive replacement. That settles choices the club had been weighing during its first-round bye.
De Paula's brief major-league introduction was enough to earn the postseason opportunity. He went 10-for-31 with five extra-base hits across 11 games last month, reaching base in half of his 42 plate appearances while largely filling in at designated hitter during Shohei Ohtani's absence, according to MLB.com.

Henriquez returns to the roster after ending the regular season on the injured list with a lower-back strain. The official announcement says he fully participated in the bye-week workouts and was cleared to return for the postseason. He recorded a 2.85 ERA in 61 regular-season appearances. That establishes his availability for this series without predicting how the Dodgers will deploy him.
The bullpen includes five right-handers and three left-handers. Kris Bubic joins Tanner Scott and Alex Vesia on the left-handed side, with Edwin Díaz, Henriquez, Evan Phillips, Roki Sasaki and Brock Stewart completing the relief group. Tarik Skubal, Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Tyler Glasnow are the four listed starters.
Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports that the 12-pitcher choice gives Los Angeles room for specialized bench players in a best-of-five series. His contemporaneous roster report confirms both De Paula and Kim are active.
Ohtani remains on the roster, and Los Angeles opens against left-hander Dylan Dodd with Betts, Ohtani, Smith and Freeman at the top of the announced order. Game 1 is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern at Dodger Stadium.
