
Boise State and Arizona headline the late West Coast college football finals
Boise State, James Madison, Arizona and North Dakota State all won late Saturday finals while three West Coast games remained live at the reporting boundary.

The late West Coast college football window produced seven verified finals. Boise State beat South Dakota 38-24, James Madison won 26-13 at San Diego State, Arizona pulled away from Northern Illinois 42-17 and North Dakota State beat Sacramento State 31-10. UCLA then finished Purdue 52-38, Oregon State beat Montana 52-17 and Fresno State won 26-10 at San Jose State.
Boise State’s result was the most competitive of the four. Dylan Riley ran for 198 yards and two touchdowns, while Maddux Madsen threw for 208 yards and two scores. South Dakota answered through Austyn Modrzewski’s 243 passing yards and three touchdowns, but two interceptions helped Boise State close the game. Read the Boise State recap.
James Madison won at San Diego State behind Camden Coleman’s 246 passing yards and two touchdowns. San Diego State’s Javion Kinnard rushed for 181 yards, but the Aztecs’ two interceptions prevented that production from becoming a comeback. Read the James Madison recap.

Arizona used multiple units to beat Northern Illinois. Noah Fifita’s touchdown passing and Caleb Smith’s 69-yard punt return turned the game into a 42-17 final after the Huskies had shown early explosive ability. Read the Arizona recap.
North Dakota State controlled Sacramento State 31-10 with Nathan Hayes’ 210 passing yards, Jackson Williams’ 134 receiving yards and two Sacramento State interceptions. A Bison defensive touchdown also widened the margin. Read the North Dakota State recap.
The three games that were live at the earlier boundary all reached final status. UCLA and Purdue combined for 90 points in a late scoring game, Oregon State pulled away from Montana for a 35-point win and Fresno State closed San Jose State 26-10.
