Update, Saturday, September 26: Chicago's final injury report rules quarterback Caleb Williams out for Monday night's game against Philadelphia with a hamstring injury. Backup Tyson Bagent is questionable with a concussion. Williams was listed as a nonparticipant on all three reports; Bagent was listed as a full participant Friday after two nonparticipation listings. This is a new game designation, replacing the uncertainty in the Bears' first report Thursday.
Williams injured his right hamstring in Sunday's 9-3 loss to Minnesota. Coach Ben Johnson called him week-to-week earlier in the week and left open the possibility of a return against the Eagles. Bagent replaced Williams against the Vikings and then entered concussion protocol. The Bears' quarterback-depth report described veteran Case Keenum as another option while Chicago waited for Bagent's progress. Saturday's official designation settles Williams' availability for this game, but Bagent's questionable status leaves his participation unresolved.
Bagent's full Friday practice is a meaningful improvement from the earlier nonparticipation entries. It does not by itself name Monday's starter or guarantee that he will be active. If Bagent cannot play, Keenum remains the veteran option on Chicago's depth chart. The Bears will have to make the final quarterback choice after evaluating Bagent's status; the official report does not announce that decision.

The final report also lists linebacker Noah Sewell and defensive lineman Shemar Turner as out. Kicker Cairo Santos, who had been on the practice report with a right hip issue, has no game designation after a full Friday practice. Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson also finished the week with a full practice and no game designation. Chicago hosts Philadelphia Monday, September 28, at 8:15 p.m. Eastern. The final inactive list will clarify which of the questionable players can dress.
